Renewals

Items may be renewed by sending an email to asherlib@spertus.edu or by calling the reference desk at 312.322.1712. Please be sure to include your name and the title and call number for each item you wish to renew.

Overdue Fines

A fine of 20¢ per day is charged for each overdue book, audiocassette, or CD. Overdue videos and DVDs accrue a fine of $2 per day per item. If no response is received after three overdue notices have been sent, the item is considered lost and an invoice for the replacement cost will be issued.

Articles

Articles found in EbscoHost or Rambi that are not available with their full text online can be requested. The Asher Library will copy and mail, fax, or scan/email articles for a fee of $4 per 25 pages.

InterLibrary Loan

Books and articles not held by the Asher Library can sometimes be borrowed from other librarys. Submit a request by email or phone (see below). Please note that costs incurred from this service will be passed on to you.

Shipping

The Asher Library will ship materials upon request. The cost for shipping in the contiguous United States is $4 for the first book and $2 for each additional book, with audiovisual materials shipping for $2 for the first item and $1 for each additional. Please contact us for international rates.
